This new world is called Yvelia, and it’s filled with the Fae—magical, powerful beings she thought were only myths. And guess who the scariest Fae of them all is? The same guy she met before! His real name is Kingfisher, and he’s a handsome but very grumpy Fae warrior.

Through a mix-up of magic, Saeris and Kingfisher become stuck together. They don't like each other one bit, but they need each other. He wants to use her magic to save his people, and she just wants to find a way back home.

What We Loved at ubooks

Two Worlds in One Book: It was so cool to go from a hot, sandy desert to a magical, frozen forest. The author does a great job of making you feel like you’re right there with Saeris.
A Brave Heroine: Saeris is awesome! She’s clever, a little bit of a troublemaker, and super brave even when she’s scared. You’ll be cheering for her the whole time.
Enemies to Lovers Fun: This is our favorite part! Saeris and Kingfisher start out as enemies. They argue and don’t trust each other. It’s so much fun to read and wonder… will they ever become friends? Or maybe even more?
So Much Adventure: The story is full of action, secrets, and magical discoveries. It’s a real page-turner that will keep you guessing what will happen next.
